First Time Users - How to set up eSurvey

Download, install the application and activate your license.

Using eSurvey is very simple. However, before starting to work with eSurvey you need to make sure that you set up your account.

These are the 4 basic steps to create a Survey or a Form.

After installing the application, it is highly recommended that you read our How to Get Started guide to set up and integrate eSurvey with your e-mail, Box.net and Twitter accounts. For integrating eSurvey with your back-office or any other social network please contact our tech support team. 

If you do not have a Box.net account,  click here for your FREE trial account. 

Once you completed your registrations, go to the main screen and select the "Create Survey" icon and start designing your new template.

If you want to work with an existing Template, you have the ability to copy any survey in your eSurvey account. This option is located under the "Templates" icon. This essentially copies the questions, answer choices, and other design elements into a new version. Just scroll down to the template you want to use, press the Menu key and click on "Add to Create Survey list" .

This option will move a copy of the template to your create survey screen, then scroll down to the copied template and hit the enter key to get started with the new design. Please check our online videos to learn how to create or modify a question. 

Once your suvey design is completed, go back to the "Create Survey" screen, position the cursor at the survey name, press the Menu button and select the option "Survey Settings" . Click here for more details. 

Make sure that you checkmark all options that apply to the way how you would like to release the data and that the selected services have been duly configured on the Service Settings screen.

At the "Create Survey" screen you can also be empowered to deploy your final template to all Blackberry smartphones that you would like to engage in the field to collect data .

To do this, press the Menu button and scroll down to the "Export Survey" option.  Please visit our Help section for further instructions on how to export a survey.

 
Once you have finished and deployed your survey template, collecting responses is as simple as running eSurvey, selecting the "Run Survey" icon, choosing the name of your template and start responding your survey.

Once your survey is completed, eSurvey will do the rest for you.
