How to work with the Settings screen ?
The Settings screen has 3 configurations available :
1 ) Mail Account
Over here you can configure which e-mail account is going to be used by eSurvey to send out all e-mails
2 ) Connection Type
This setting will allow you to define which connectivity service would you be using
MDS Transport - to be used with Blackberry Enterprise Server ( BES )
BIS-B - to be used with Blackberry Internet Service ( BIS )
HTTP over Direct TCP -
WAP - to used with a standard WIFI secure connection that requires a key
WIFI - to used with a standard WIFI open connection
3 ) Service Settings - Click here to understand What is a Service ?
This configuration is to define which 3rd party services the Data and Forms will be released .
The Enterprise license will be allow you to release information to the following services
.- E-mail ( you need to have an e-mail account )
.- Cloud Services such as Box.net and Zoho.com ( you need to have an account with Box.net / Zoho.com ) Click here for More Info
.- Social Services with Twitter ( you need to have a Twitter account )
.- GPS Tracking and Mapping with eSruvey Square - Click here for More Info
.- Web Services to connect directly with your own Server - Click here for More Info
For each of these services you will have to provide your Access ID and Password
4 ) Look Tables
To access a dialog what will allow you to Create , Edit and Export Lookup Tables
Lookup Tables are basically Plain Text Files that can be used for the following :
- Create a Long Table of Answer Options for a LookUp Question Type
- Import or Export Choice / Multi-Choice Answers for being used in other Surveys
- Import a Table of Answers for a LookUp Question Type withouth modifying the Survey
