Blackberry Enterprise Server ( BES )
If your company has a Blackberry Enterprise Server, most likely you will need to take some additional steps when setting up eSurvey to work with your Blackberry.
eSurvey is an application that works with your Blackberry email server and other Blackberry services. Therefore, in order to be able to send all captured information by email or any other kind of connectivity, you need to make sure that your company' security policies enable eSurvey to interact with your existing applications and services.
If you feel this is becoming too complex, please don't. It is a very easy step, and it basically translates into having your IT administrator review some settings at the Blackberry Enterprise Service. Just forward this link to your administrator and he will be able to get you started with eSurvey in no time.

What is a Blackberry Enterprise Server ?
Security is one of the cornerstones of the BlackBerry® solution. BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) is the name of the middleware software package that is part of the BlackBerry wireless platform from Research In Motion. The software and service connects to messaging and collaboration software (Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, Novell GroupWise) on enterprise networks and redirects emails and synchronize contacts and calendaring information between servers, desktop workstations, and mobile devices.
What is an IT Policy ?
Each BlackBerry smartphone, on activation, is added to a customizable base IT policy to ensure a minimum level of security. There are over 400 published IT policies, the BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution provides administrators with complete and precise control over their wireless solution—through intuitive, comprehensive IT policy management tools.
