Blackberry Enterprise Server ( BES )
If your company has a Blackberry Enterprise Server, most likely you will need to take some additional steps when setting up eSurvey to work with your Blackberry.
eSurvey is an application that works with your Blackberry email server and other Blackberry services. Therefore, in order to be able to send all captured information by email or any other kind of connectivity, you need to make sure that your company' security policies enable eSurvey to interact with your existing applications and services.
If you feel this is becoming too complex, please don't. It is a very easy step, and it basically translates into having your IT administrator review some settings at the Blackberry Enterprise Service. Just forward this link to your administrator and he will be able to get you started with eSurvey in no time.
How do you know if you Blackberry is linked to the company's BES ?
1.- You can ask your IT Administrator
2.- If your Outgoing mail address shows as "Desktop" then most likely you are linked to the company's BES
What is a Blackberry Enterprise Server ?

What do I need to do to enable eSurvey to work with my Blackberry ?
The best course of action is to contact your IT ( BES ) Administrator and ask for support .
These are the main issues you will need to address to ensure eSurvey can work :
- Allow Auto Attachment Download IT policy rule
- Attachment Viewing IT policy rule
- Adjust the Maximum Native Attachment MFH total attachment size IT policy rule
- Review your Documents To Go IT policy rule
- S/MIME Allowed Encrypted Attachment Mode IT policy rule
- Disable Form Submission IT policy rule
- Disable Message Normal Send IT policy rule
- Allow Other Message Services IT policy rule
You will also need to review the resources that third-party applications installed on BlackBerry devices can access.
