When a text message is sent to your BlackBerry smartphone, it will appear in your e-mail program’s inbox with the subject, "[SMS] sender’s telephone number".

Should you answer this e-mail, the application will send the text to the sender’s telephone as a text message. Your reply’s subject must always contain "RE: [SMS] sender’s telephone number" NOTE: Always send your text messages with the email address which has been set as standard on your BlackBerry smartphone.

Can't enable SMS2Desk?

In some isolated cases, you may not be able to enable SMS2Desk over the "ENABLE" menu item. If you should experience this problem, please perform the following steps:

» Check that no other SMS applications are running; a BlackBerry smartphone's operating system does not allow the use of more than one SMS application at a time.

» Otherwise, it may be that SMS2Desk doesn't recognize the email address registered on your BlackBerry smartphone. In this case, please perform a hard reset: Remove your smartphone's battery, reinsert it, and then restart the device.
